Jenn & Eric’s Stone Mountain Wedding

Jenn and Eric had a super casual beach style wedding at Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain, Georgia. We were fortunate that the weather cooperated with us and there was no rain during the ceremony or reception. It was a beautiful ceremony with family and friends, all of whom had to travel to Georgia including the bride and groom. During the ceremony, the bride and groom planted a tree together using soil from the states where they are from and then they will plant the tree in their yard where they live, what a wonderful idea! We ended the evening with sparklers, glow sticks and all kinds of fun stuff and of course dancing in the sand on the beach.

Bobby and Evelyn live out of state, as they arrived in town for their wedding, we got together at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia for a really quick meeting and engagement photos just days before their wedding. In a short amount of time, we got many great engagement photos.

Jenn and Eric met at this very location when she was on vacation with a friend and their jet ski ran out of gas near the dock. Eric came to the rescue with some gas, a map, refreshments and a smile. The rest is history. We met up with them on July 4th to do some photos and film their love story on the dock. I truly enjoyed being on the beach while doing photos, I hope to have many chances to do that again in the future. We ended the day with fireworks at The Wharf and then playing with sparklers to practice for the wedding. I will have another post about their wedding in Stone Mountain, GA.

Thad & Patricia’s Chateau Elan Wedding

Thad contacted me as a surprise for his bride. She did not even know there was going to be a wedding photographer until she entered the ceremony. It was a simple intimate wedding at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia. During the ceremony they shared Holy Communion as their first activity together as husband and wife along with everyone else present including myself, immediately following the ceremony and hors d’oeuvres yet another surprise everyone got to participate in a drum circle.

Beau & Havilah got engaged at Pooles Mill Park in Ball Ground, GA and I had the honor of photographing them at the very location he proposed to her, the night before he proposed to her, she caught the bouquet at her cousin’s wedding and she had no idea only 24 hours later she would be engaged. I never get tired of love stories like this. We had a great time and I know we will have a blast at their upcoming wedding.
